Course: Developing Personal Resilience

This one-day workshop prepares participants to understand and develop their own resilience. It introduces the characteristics of resilient people and uses the Personal Resilience Profile as the basis for personal insight and action planning. The course is highly experiential and very engaging. RA offers facilitator training for DPR.

Resilience Alliance Certification Programs

Resilience Alliance currently offers certification in two areas:

Personal Resilience Questionnaire/Profile

Designed for individuals who have previous experience with individual assessment and feedback, the certification process qualifies practitioners to order and use the Personal Resilience Questionnaire. The certification process consists of:

Training session – delivered online, this approximately 3-hour session covers:

• Concepts related to resilience
• Appropriate uses of the tool
• Personal Resilience Profile interpretation and feedback guidelines
• Practice profile interpretation

Feedback/Prep session –  2 weeks after training session; delivered online, approximately 1.5 hours. Participants are coached through their first delivery of feedback. They:

• Invite two individuals to complete the profile
• Complete interpretation worksheets in preparation for one-on-one     meetings with each individual who completed the profile
• Participate in coaching phone calls before conducting the interpretation sessions

Final Debrief session – 2 weeks after feedback/prep session delivered online, approximately 1 hour.  In this session:

• Participants debrief the feedback session with group
• Walk through tutorial of the Resilience Alliance Admin system

Personal Resilience Instructor Training

Designed for individuals who are experienced facilitators of soft-skills training, the Instructor Training course includes the following:

Attendance at a 2-day workshop where participants will work with a master trainer to review the course modules and practice exercises.  Each participant will receive a facilitator guide and delivery kit

Cost: Includes the 2-day workshop, facilitator kit, and a 2-year license  for reproduction of participant materials.  Please contact jacqueline@resiliencealliance.com  for information on cost.

Team Resilience Profile Certification 

The certification process is self-paced and guides the participant through their first Team Resilience Workshop delivery. It has six components:

Orientation Webinar: Short webinar to orient one or more participants to the process.   

Self-paced Study: Participants go through a series of online lessons at their own pace. These include slide presentations, assignments, and resource documents. The lessons will help each participant understand the key concepts, the process for gathering data, various ways the material can be used with teams, and the actions teams can take to develop their resilience.

Community and Expert Support: As participants go through the online lessons, they will have the opportunity to exchange questions and experiences with other practitioners who are going through the certification process. Resilience Alliance experts monitor the dialogue and provide responses to questions as needed.

Workshop Preparation: Once the participant’s first team has completed the assessment and we have put the report and workshop materials together, we provide an in-depth one-on-one webinar session to review the results and prepare the participant for their workshop.

Post-Workshop Debrief: After the workshop, we debrief with the participant and discuss learnings, next steps with the team, and the process for using the Team Resilience Profile going forward.

Resources: You have access to a set of articles and tools for follow-up activities, and can continue to participate in the online discussion with other practitioners using the materials.

For the introductory price for certification contact jacqueline@resiliencealliance.com. The price includes your first report and all six certification components described above.

Subsequent reports are 20 credits for the first 20 participants, and one credit for eachparticipant over 20.

The cost of Personal Resilience Profiles for participants is not included in the certification process or subsequent reports.
